  8. A masterpiece of Prog Rock. "This Strange Engine" was my first Marillion experience.. though the albu a disaster with a few songs standing out.. this song revive the whole album. Its kind of a biographical song about Steve Hogarth coming to life and some of his early memory of his childhood. He also pays tribute to his father in the seond part.
